Joyce has more than ten years of real estate experience in the East Central and Newton County area. As a top producer with another firm, Joyce decided to start her own real estate company in 2024. Joyce Holifield Realty started with a goal to create a small town style company where experience, market knowledge, and service of the Broker will be present in EVERY transaction.
Known within the real estate community for her high professional, integrity and ethical standards, Joyce has earned herself a reputation as a dedicated and hardworking Realtor. Before her career in real estate in 2014, Joyce gained valuable experience and insights as an insurance and finance professional with over 20 years of experience. “Financing and insurance are important considerations in real estate decisions. My in-depth knowledge of these aspects benefits my clients in their decision-making processes.” Because of this unique background experience, Joyce has participated in millions of dollars in Real Estate sales and is recognized as a top producer.
Joyce is a Graduate of Real Estate Institute, (GRI), member of National Association of Realtors (NAR), Mississippi Association of Realtors (MAR), and East Mississippi Realtors. In addition, she served on the Community Outreach Committee Board Member with the Meridian Board of Realtors. Joyce has also worked as Executive Director of the Union Chamber of Commerce. With the Union Chamber of Commerce in 2013, she revitalized the town’s long-standing arts & crafts festival, “Country Day.” “When I worked with the Chamber, I realized that Union and Newton County, Mississippi have unique qualities that draw people to the area. I was able to leverage Facebook and other social media to promote the event, which was a great success.”
A graduate, Salutatorian, of Newton County Academy, East Central Community College Associates in Science Degree in Computer Operations and Certificate in Computer Technology. Joyce has a strong roots in Mississippi. Joyce grew up in Decatur as the youngest child of Alvyn and Jean Moore. She lived in Newton County most of her adult life, returned to Mississippi and made Newton County her home in 2009. Joyce has been active in the community including serving Newton Chamber of Commerce, Union Chamber of Commerce, Present Day Club of Union and a Notary of the Public. Joyce Holifield Realty is committed to giving back to the community where Joyce lives and works. A member of Clarke Venable Baptist Church and is devoted to her family, Joyce and her husband Mike, have three children, Megan, Aaron, Tori (Hunter) and three grandchildren, Camryn, Swayzie and Dustin.
